I live just outside of Fairbury on a small acreage.  We love the country setting and the convenience of living close to town.  I am married to Mike ( 33 years and counting!) and we have two grown daughters Nicole and her husband Travis and Kylie.  We are the proud grandparents of seven wonderful grandchildren.  They are SumJai-8, Blaire-8, Blaike-7, TaiLyn-5, Holton-5, Donovan-4 and Isaac-3.  We love to be able to spend time with them and try not to spoil them too much!

I received my college education from Fairbury Jr. College, Southeast Community College and Doane College.  I received my Bachelor's degree and my Master's degree from Doane College.  I love to go to school and learn new things!

In my spare time I am involved in my church, an Extension Club, a Card Club and I am on a woman's bowling team!  I love to read and take walks!

I have been teaching for 25 years.  I started with Kindergarten and then taught First Grade.  Now I will be doing both!  How exciting!  I love teaching and get excited when children learn new things.  I try to make learning fun!  We have some crazy times in my classroom and we do a lot of learning along the way!
