Upcoming Concerts
Tired of just listening to songs on the radio or watching concerts on YouTube? Why not get out and see a live concert?
One may ask, “But I don’t know of any shows coming?” Have no fear. Here are some upcoming shows. For you rock fans, there is Nickelback with Seether and Saving Abel at Qwest Center Omaha March 17 at 7 p.m. “I am excited to go this show. Nickelback is amazing,” said Lacey Billenwillms ‘09
Omaha too far? How about Kearney? Shinedown will be at Kearney, NE FirstTier Event Center March 15. “I really hope I can go to see that show,” said Jenna Hughes ‘10.
But if March is too far for you to wait, do not fret because February has its own fair share of good shows. Motley Crue with Hinder and Theory of a Dead Man will be at Qwest Center Omaha Feb. 10, starting at 6 p.m. “I am pumped to go see them, and I get to drive there which makes it even more awesome,” said Hailey Micheal ‘10. “I call shotgun with Haley,” is what Janessa Kobza ‘10 comment on the event was.
Avenge Sevenfold and Buckcherry are live at the Mid-America center in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on Feb., 14 starting at 6:30 p.m. Sounds like the perfect place for a romantic Valentine’s Day date.
If these rock shows are not what you’re into, don’t worry, Celine Dion is at Qwest Center Omaha, Feb. 26 at 8 p.m.
Brad Paisley is also at Omaha Qwest Center on Jan. 31, at 7:30 p.m, so get your cowboy hats and boots, country fans, and get ready to boot scoot boogey.
For you metal heads, there are shows for you, too. Slipknot, with Coheed and Cambria and Trivium are at Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on Jan. 25, at 7 p.m.
If you don’t like these shows, it’s okay. Ticketmaster.com is a great site to look for upcoming concerts.
