Introduction

Learning to evaluate web site information is a practiced skill.  An authentic site should list an author, a sponsoring organization, and a date.  Look for recent updates so you know the information is current.  A good site should display accurate information in a creative way.  A clear purpose should be stated in an unbiased manner.  Finally, the site must be useful to the user.


Task
The student is expected to:
(A) Review sites to learn effective ways to check information.
(B) Perform activities to reinforce this learning.
(C) Evaluate web sites for specific information
(D) Collaborate as a group to assess and rank given sites.
