Tech Prep Course. Completion of this course meeting specified
requirements satisfies complementing curriculum at Southeast Community
College. ** Dual college credit available through Peru State College. The high school textbook is used. Dual credit tuition is 50 percent of normal PSC tuition rate. Students must be a Junior or Senior with a minimum 3.0 GPA. **
FHS is proud to offer the following courses for dual college credit: Fairbury Junior-Senior High School has operated on an intensive block schedule since the fall of 1996. Students enroll in four 92-minute classes per semester. Our success with the block schedule has seen improvements in attendance. Students have a maximum of four courses per semester, providing them with fewer subjects to focus on daily. The longer periods in the block schedule allow for greater concentration in a subject; thus, providing students with better comprehension. |
