I enjoy teaching math lessons from my experiences on my trip. In class we talk about proportions and dealing with foreign currency; Taj Mahal's architecture is loaded with geometry concepts; and many other cultural discussions. I encourage my students to travel whenever they have the opportunity.

In January of 1999, I went around the world in
just 24 days and stopped in seven countries! This was a class for me at Midland
Lutheran College. Two professors took six students and two alumni. The best
part was that my mother went with us and we continue to share those memories together and
will for years to come. I hope that you will enjoy my pictures below knowing that I
saw these things through my own eyes...these are not pictures taken from the web!
