I am a proud graduate of
Elkhorn High School.
I have many fond memories of my experiences there. I played volleyball and
basketball, sang in the choir and was a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
The best memories, however, come from being a drum major for two years and playing in the
concert, jazz and pep bands. |

| I graduated from Midland Lutheran College
with a bachelor of science in mathematics and an endorsement in 7-12 math education along
with a coaching endorsement. At Midland I became involved with intramural sports,
one-act plays, concert, jazz and pep bands, resident hall life, campus ministry and
Fellowship of Christian Athletes. |

I completed my masters in curriculum and instruction from Doane College during the summer of 2002. Doane
provided many classes that made a positive, direct impact on my own classroom. My
enthusiasm for being an educator continues to grow, thanks to these classes.
Due to my love of learning, I continue to take classes from Doane, which
inspire new ideas to use in my classroom. |
