FHS Valentine Tea Party |
|
The most beautiful teachers at Fairbury High School have a tradition of celebrating Valentine's Day at a Tea Party! This year's theme was vintage purses. Diane Schutt and Connie Schouboe work together to send out fancy invitations, decorate the media center tables, provide games and entertainment and award door prizes. This year's games included the challenging task of matching a purse with its owner. Once all the purses were claimed, we went for a scavenger hunt! Prizes were awarded to ladies who had the most or the weirdest items in their purse. Of course we enjoyed eating too! The ladies who attend bring finger foods or desserts to share from recipes that are simply divine! Tea settings are laid out for the ladies to feel a little special on a lovely holiday. You can browse the photo album below for a glimpse of the most beautiful smiles this Valentine's Day. If you click on a small "thumbnail" picture it will get large so you can have a closer look. Be sure to click the small arrow on the right of the small pictures so you can scroll through all of the pictures. I am sorry that I didn't get a picture of everyone in attendance. But at least I didn't take any pictures of you eating this year!
