Participants will create a portfolio which will be used as a showcase for the class. This will be a PowerPoint production containing links to various examples of learning.
Article
Blog: (100 Points)
Participants
will read articles related to multimedia each day and write a short blog summary/journal entry about the article. 20 points will be given for each entry.
Technology
Toolbox: (100 Points)
Participants will keep a log of useful multimedia web sites. 10 sites are required. Also list the titles of the articles that you read each night that were included in your blog.
Digital
Photo Editing: (100 Points)
Participants
will use Picassa to import and edit photos. 10 examples are required
including before and after pictures.
Digital
Audio Recording: (100 points)
Participants
will create an audio recording using Audacity.
This can be incorporated into PowerPoint or Movie Maker.
Digital
Storytelling: (300 Points)
Participants
will create a digital storybook using Windows Movie Maker. It will include transitions, effects, and
sound. It will be a finished movie saved
for playback on the computer.
Multimedia
Lesson Design: (100 Points)
Participants
will write a brief lesson design explaining “How will I apply what I have
learned to a student-created project in the classroom?”
