Each day a student from
our classroom is the "Roving Reporter." He or she composes an
article and takes photos using a digital camera. After that, they
create a podcast (a digital recording) of their report. Listen to
the students tell you all about the experiences and learning that
take place during the school year.
Dux's Diaries are Podcasts that my
6th grade students have created. Podcast is derived from
"POD" (Playable On
Demand).
It is essentially an audio file on the Internet, like a radio
program. Podcasts are not designed to be interactive. They are
becoming popular for educational purposes as a way of demonstrating
what students have learned. |
