My Career
My first teaching assignment was in
a country school near Gilead,
Nebraska. I team taught grades
K-8. It was a challenge to
plan for multi-grade classes!
Hebron Public Schools was my next
stop. There I was a special
education teacher for students K-12.
I am currently teaching 6th grade in
Fairbury, Nebraska. I serve as
my buildings technology assistant.
Along with being a full time
classroom teacher, I am also an
adjunct faculty member of
Doane College
where I teach a variety of
technology courses. |

My Family
I am a passionate teacher of 6th
grade students in the Fairbury
Public School system as well as an
adjunct faculty member of Doane
College. I love to teach, and
integrating technology just makes it
even more fun!
I have been married for 26 years to
Stephen Dux. Instead of being
passionate about technology, he is
passionate about raising pigs:)
My son Jordan is the National
Affairs Coordinator for the Farm
Bureau in Lincoln, and my son Thomas
is a sophomore in college studying
Ag Education.
I am excited about going on this
educational journey with you:) |

My Hobbies
I enjoy
