We celebrated the 100th day of school on January 29, 2007.  There were so many activities, we were busy all day!  We started the day by looking at a $100 dollar bill, except there was something odd about the bill, it had our picture on it!  Mrs. Comer told us that this was the most valuable bill that we would ever have!  We then had to design our 100th day glasses so that the world could see that we truly were "100 days smarter"!  Mr. Christiansen surprised us all with a magical 100th day pencil.  We participated in many different learning centers that were based on 100!  As a special treat, we were able to get together with the other 2 first grade classes and listen to each teacher read a 100th Day of School book!  Of course, what is a celebration without a treat...we also made a 100th day snack mix!  We ended our day by sorting and counting each special item that we had each brought to share.  Check out our pictures!
