My
Education
|
I began
my education in Mrs. Neal's Kindergarten class.
It is there that I learned what a caring teacher is
like.
I am a proud graduate of Beatrice High School...Go
Orangemen! After High School, I attended Nebraska
Wesleyan and then transferred to Phillips University
in Enid, Oklahoma, where our school mascot was a
skunk! There, I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary
Education from Phillips
University. I will graduate in August with my Master's
degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Doane College. |

My Career
My first teaching
experience was working with 4th grade for 7 years. I
then taught 2nd grade for 1 year, P.E. for 1 year, and I
have been a 1st Grade Teacher for the last 5 years.
Each age level brings about new learning experiences for me
as a teacher. I would not be able to say what my
favorite grade to teach is, they all have unique
characteristics that are not comparable. Each student
that I have had in my classroom has made an everlasting
impression upon my heart. My only wish is that I have
made a difference in their life as well.
