Accounting I
This course places the emphasis on the foundation of accounting concepts,
procedures, and vocabulary. The student will learn the accounting cycle for
sole proprietorship, merchandising business organized as a partnership, and
will begin the process for a merchandising business organized as a corporation.
Students will also complete business simulations for a sole proprietorship
and for a merchandising business organized as a partnership. Knowledge of
basic mathematical functions is very helpful. Accounting I is offered to 11th
& 12th grade students.
